What: HamJam 2009
Where: Waikato University
When: Saturday 5th December
Why: Pancakes! (and parkour of course ;) )

Saturday is the main day for HamJam, so if you can't be in Hamilton for the whole weekend make sure you can be there on the Saturday. The actual start for the Hamilton gathering is 7pm Friday 4th December at the Uni Rec. Activities will conclude on the Sunday afternoon.

This began last year as a fairly laid back gathering to test the waters before the first national gathering in Wellington earlier this year. We are running HamJam again as a means of demonstrating to the NZ parkour community what we are all about in the Hamilton scene, and to provide an excuse for you all to visit us as one of the minor major centers of the country.

We intend to keep our casual approach to this gathering, as communal training is a great stress release at this time of year. There will also be a BBQ on the Saturday evening, and if you need a place to stay Damien has plenty of room - just be sure to get in touch with him before the event.

I would appreciate it if anyone attending could get in touch with me so that I know how many to cater for at the BBQ on the Saturday night. The BBQ (and pancakes) are a gift to you from us (the Hamilton traceurs) for making the effort to come and visit :D

All levels of ability are welcome, however no special attempt will be made to cater for beginners other than to get them joining in and being assisted by other traceurs along the way.

That's enough for now. All of the remaining details will be worked out as we go (there is a possibility of a gym session on the Friday evening for instance). We look forward to having you visit us!
